Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is a method of managing health that has been practiced since ancient times in China. On any morning in the parks throughout China, you will find literally thousands of people doing Qigong practices. People often think this is T'ai Chi. It is usually Qigong, the original healing art that pre-dates acupuncture. T'ai Chi and the other martial arts grew out of Qigong.
Sound organizes matter. Instead of the word “energy,” the ancients used the concept of Sacred Sound. The “sacred ratios” found in nature were considered by the ancients to be a fundamental part of the human soul and psyche.
The use of tuning forks specially designed to the Pythagorean intervals creates a sympathetic resonance with the quality of Sacred Sound deep within us. This guides the individual back to the proportions of the sacred ratios, aligning his or her body/mind/spirit into more harmonic pattern.
Feng Shui (pronounced a fung shway) is the ancient Chinese art of improving every aspect of your life by applying the principles of harmony and energy flow your environment. The life coach's goal is not to tell the person what they should do or how to live their life. It’s about being a facilitator that empowers the person to identify the changes that they would like to make and then helping them through the process of achieving these goals.

Diedre Seeley, the owner of Mountain Dove Wellness, has been involved with indigenous healing arts for more than 20 years. In addition to teaching the OhashiMethod™ and Qigong, Diedre has lectured and given hands-on demonstrations to a variety of groups, including cancer and acoustic neuroma conferences. While living in New York City, she received an award for providing energy services to emergency workers, in response to the tragedy of September 11, 2001.
She has studied with Masters in the field, including Ohashi, founder of the Ohashi Institute; Kwan Sai Hung (The Wandering Daoist) and Li Junfeng (Jet Li's master) for Qigong; John Beaulieu for sound therapy; as well as John Perkins, Alberto Villoldo, Manny Twofeathers for shamanism.
